Compare the exact models, not a brand ranking. Property phase, PV configuration, nominal and usable capacity, off-grid continuous and surge power, backed-up circuits, component warranties and installed quote determine fit.

It may be possible after a compatibility review. We check the existing inverter, array, switchboard, metering and the proposed AC- or DC-coupled design before confirming it.

Not automatically. The written design must identify the backed-up circuits and compare simultaneous and starting loads with the selected inverter's off-grid continuous and surge output. No battery guarantees every appliance will continue through every outage.

Price moves with the exact inverter and battery models, nominal and usable capacity, roof type, switchboard, metering, backup circuits and cable runs. The written quote should show gross installed price and each eligible incentive separately.

Eligible systems may receive solar STCs, the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount and a NSW VPP incentive. Eligible homeowners may separately apply through a participating finance provider for a zero-interest Home Energy Saver loan of up to $15,000. It is repayable finance, not a rebate or quote deduction.

Yes. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program remains available for eligible systems. The former NSW home battery installation discount ended on 1 July 2025; separate NSW support may still apply for eligible Virtual Power Plant participation.

Payback cannot be guaranteed. It depends on interval usage, solar production, tariffs, export rates, charging behaviour, installed cost, eligible incentives and how the system is operated.
