Solar & batteries in North Rothbury & Huntlee
Huntlee has turned North Rothbury into one of the fastest-growing addresses in the Hunter, and nearly every home out here is new. That is good news for solar: current-standard switchboards, Colorbond roofs with clean unbroken planes, and builders' systems that are frequently undersized for the house they sit on. A lot of the work we do in new estates is either finishing what the builder started or putting a proper system on from scratch.
What matters in North Rothbury & Huntlee
- Builder-supplied systems on new homes are often 6.6kW on a roof that could comfortably carry far more. Expanding the array is usually cheaper per kilowatt than the original install.
- New switchboards mean batteries generally go in without an upgrade, which takes a meaningful cost off the quote.
- Hunter summers are hot and the air conditioning runs late — that evening load is exactly what a battery covers.
- Big, simple Colorbond roof planes make for efficient installs and tidy cable runs.
- Around 45 minutes from Hamilton North, and we are through the Cessnock and Branxton area regularly.
