How often should solar be serviced?
A check every couple of years suits most Newcastle homes, and sooner if output has dropped, you're near the coast, or the system has never been inspected.
Will you service a system you didn't install?
Yes. A lot of our service work is on systems installed by companies that no longer exist.
How do I know my system is underperforming?
Compare your current generation to the same season last year. A steady decline, or one string producing noticeably less than the others, is worth investigating.
Do I need an inspection before adding a battery?
We always assess the existing system first. Adding storage to a system with tired isolators or a marginal switchboard just builds a problem in.
