It's a discount, not a cheque

You don't pay full price and claim money back. The incentive is created as certificates when the system is installed, and your installer discounts the invoice up front. On your quote it should appear as a clearly identified deduction.

It steps down over time

The program settings and discount rates change over time. A quote should use the rules in force for the expected installation date, not an old headline amount. Waiting may change the discount, but can still be sensible if your household will not use the storage yet.

What qualifies

• The battery must be on the approved product list and installed by an accredited installer.
• The system must be installed to current standards and properly commissioned.

Can it stack with NSW programs?
