Lake Macquarie is core territory for us: close to our Hamilton base, so quotes, installs and after-service are all quick.

Around the lake we see a consistent pattern — ducted air conditioning, pool pumps, and in a growing number of homes an electric car on the charger overnight. Those loads change the sizing conversation. A system built only around the roof will look impressive on paper and still leave the household buying peak power every evening.

So the starting point on jobs like this is the bill, not the roof. We look at how much power is used, when it's used, and what it costs at those times, then size the array and the battery around that. Sometimes the honest answer is a smaller battery than the customer expected.

Lakeside homes also cop humidity and salt-laden air. Corrosion-resistant mounting hardware and properly sealed enclosures aren't an upsell here — they're the difference between a system that lasts its warranty and one that needs attention in five years.

Being twenty minutes up the road matters after the install too. If something needs looking at, it's our own crew coming back, not a service contractor from out of town.
