  • Install solar electrical systems within your licence and current accreditation scope.

  • A positive attitude and pride in doing the job properly.
  • Current NSW electrical licence.
  • Relevant current SAA solar installation accreditation.

Desirable

  • Experience troubleshooting solar systems and preparing clear handover documentation.

The work, honestly

This is on-site work across Newcastle and the Hunter, based from our Hamilton North workshop. Expect outdoor work, roofs, weather exposure, manual handling and travel between sites. Work within your training and competence, use safe handling methods and follow site-specific safe working procedures. Our normal Monday–Thursday roster usually means a three-day weekend; it is not a guarantee that every Friday is off.

What we look for

Skills can be taught. Attitude is what makes a good crew. We work with switched-on people who take pride in their work, back their mates and enjoy being trusted to get on with it.

  • Pride in the job: done right the first time, no corners cut and no loose ends left for someone else.
  • Trusted to run your work: we give you ownership, not someone looking over your shoulder.
  • Keen to learn and grow: we back you to build your skills and step up.
  • Bring energy and solutions to site: we look for fixes, not things to complain about.
  • Work hard together, then enjoy the three-day weekend: four solid days on, Fridays usually off.
