Solar Labourer / Trade Assistant

Help the crew keep each installation running smoothly. This is hands-on, non-electrical support work for someone reliable who looks after their teammates, the site and the materials.
Normal roster: Monday–Thursday · four 9.5-hour days · 38-hour week. Normally a three-day weekend.

- Prepare sites and organise tools and materials with the crew.
- Move panels and equipment using safe methods and agreed handling plans.
- Provide non-electrical installation support within your training and competence.
- Keep work areas tidy and remove packaging and site waste safely.
What you'll bring
Essential
- A positive attitude and pride in doing the job properly.
- Reliability, teamwork and willingness to follow instructions.
- White Card and site-specific training before relevant site work.
- Ability to follow safe manual handling and site procedures.
Desirable
- Solar installation support or construction experience.
- Familiarity with hand tools and working around an installation crew.
The work, honestly
This is on-site work across Newcastle and the Hunter, based from our Hamilton North workshop. Expect outdoor work, roofs, weather exposure, manual handling and travel between sites. Work within your training and competence, use safe handling methods and follow site-specific safe working procedures. Our normal Monday–Thursday roster usually means a three-day weekend; it is not a guarantee that every Friday is off.
