Waratah: a straightforward job done properly

Waratah is effectively our backyard. Our workshop is in Hamilton North, so a site visit here is a five-minute drive and anything needed after switch-on is handled by the same crew rather than a contractor from out of town.

The suburb's homes are mostly older brick and weatherboard with a mix of tile and sheet metal roofs. Roof and batten condition varies, so mounting is planned after someone has been up there, not before.

Like much of inner Newcastle, switchboard age is the common surprise. Assessing it during the quote keeps the price honest and avoids install-day variations.

Panels here usually go up in a day, and the site is left clean — offcuts, packaging and old hardware leave with us.
